2009 Lismore Range Cabernet Sauvignon from South Eastern Australia
This was another bottle I picked up at our local Grocery Outlet. Again, when I say this is a great place to try a variety of different wines from different regions and you don’t need to worry about spending a lot of money per bottle. This is a perfect example on what I have to say about this wine.
This South Eastern Australian Cabernet is definitely not one I would say, oh yum! The wine was light in color, more of a Ruby, intensity seemed shallow and finishes dry. Although, this wine has a good aroma one would think this would be a pretty good one, until you take a sip. Maybe the wine is a bit young. Alcohol content 13.9% by volume.
I think I’ll stick to the Shiraz/Syrah from Australia. The Lismore Range Cab 09 is not one I’d pick up again.
